1. Thinly spread out your sand over a fairly large area

2. Get the surface and all the sand very wet

3. Brush the wet sand nearby with your push broom

4. Brush until there is only sand just inside the joints of the pavers and any other gaps adding more water if indispensable to loosen the surface sand and rule the joint sand

5. Continue brushing over the whole surface production sure not to add to much sand to new areas

6. Go back over the surface with a flat tip spray nozzle not spraying too much so that you blow the sand out of the joints but sweeping the remaining sand away with your fan tipped hose

Applying Sealant

7. Depending on if your surface was previously sealed and what type of sealant you are using you may want to add some water to the sealant after pouring some into the pump sprayer. For SealN'Lock we regularly start with a half water half sealant composition and mix it up good before spraying

8. Spray evenly over the whole surface production sure that all joints are filled and all paver tops are well coated

9. Also make sure to brush nearby any sealant that collects into large pools

10. With Water-Based sealants you have about 20 minutes to rinse the sealant off the walls, plants, furniture, etc. With your spray bottle of water

11. Allow the surface to dry 1-2 days depending on sealant before using again

12. If you want to perform a shinier look, wait until the surface is dry then evenly reapply a right sealant coat with your pump sprayer

13. You now have a beautiful sealed surface that will repel all stains and depending on your sealant choice will last for years.
